Note de l'Ă©diteur.

Publisher’s Note.
*Ainsi Parlait l'Art* explores all forms of art at the intersection of various disciplines,
with a particular focus on dance in all its manifestations, including the ballets being created and performed across the globe. Since its founder cannot be everywhere at once, this section draws upon still images, archives, and video recordings provided by dance companies:
a visual record of choreographic movement that captures the essence of a work, transcending the ephemeral nature of a live performance. Herein lies the poetics of the moment: a frozen movement continues to resonate—through the image, through the form, and through the trace left upon the retina or within the memory.
The eye also listens to what remains once the movement has come to a halt.
