Bataille d'oreillers
Banksy a créé ce pochoir dans l'une des chambres de l'hôtel Walled Off, qu'il a entièrement décorée avec d'autres artistes et designers internationaux, face au mur de Bethléem. On reconnaît la patte du maître du street art et son sens de l'humour. L'Israélien (le soldat) et le Palestinien (le manifestant) ne pouvaient s'affronter que d'une seule manière dans cette chambre d'hôtel… avec des oreillers !

Pillow Fight
Banksy created this stencil in one of the rooms of the Walled Off Hotel, which he decorated entirely together with other international artists and designers, opposite the Bethlehem wall. We recognise the touch of the master of street art and his sense of humour. The Israeli (the soldier) and the Palestinian (the protester) could only fight in one way in this hotel room... with pillows!

L'Hôtel Walled Off
Probablement l'une des œuvres les plus originales et décalées de Banksy, l'Hôtel Walled Off a ouvert
ses portes au public le 11 mars 2017. Plus qu'un hôtel, c'est une « installation politique ».
Banksy a remarqué qu'à quelques pas du mur de Bethléem, certaines chambres offraient une vue imprenable sur la ligne de démarcation en béton.

et a recréé l'atmosphère coloniale anglaise du début du XXe siècle. Une fois de plus, entre ironie
et dénonciation, Banksy profite de cette initiative pour marquer le centenaire de la prise de contrôle britannique de la Palestine et le début d'une période de confusion et de conflit. Interrogé sur le caractère raciste de l'initiative de Banksy, le site web de l'hôtel indique clairement :
« Le Walled Off Hotel est un établissement de loisirs entièrement indépendant, créé et financé par Banksy. Il n'est affilié à aucun mouvement politique ni groupe de pression. Notre direction et notre personnel palestiniens réservent un accueil particulièrement chaleureux aux jeunes Israéliens qui viennent
avec un cœur ouvert. »

and denunciation, Banksy uses this initiative to mark the hundredth anniversary of the British takeover
of Palestine, and the "beginning of a period of confusion and conflict".
