La peinture naît d’une innocence originelle, d’un premier geste pur et sans intention autre que la joie de la couleur et de la trace. La rencontre avec les rivières, les paysages, puis avec l’histoire de l’art,
provoque une prise de conscience : peindre, c’est avant tout accepter de se perdre pour mieux découvrir

un territoire inconnu. Ce premier chapitre est celui d’un apprentissage patient, où la peinture devient progressivement familière, où chaque tache révèle peu à peu le mystère et le long chemin qu’elle recèle.
