Cette œuvre a été créée en hommage aux vertus et témoigne de la profonde gratitude de l'artiste envers tous les monarques thaïlandais pour leur immense bienveillance. Leurs sacrifices inlassables ont ouvert
la voie à leurs enfants, le peuple thaïlandais de toutes les générations.
Cette œuvre s'inspire du Chudadhuj Ratchathan, sur l'île de Koh Sichang, dans la province de Chonburi. Ancien palais d'été du roi Chulalongkorn (Rama V), ce lieu fut également le berceau de Son Altesse Royale le prince Chudadhuj Dharadilok, prince de Phetchabun Indrajai, fils du roi Rama V.
C'est pourquoi l'endroit fut nommé « Phra Chudadhuj Ratchathan ». La partie gauche du tableau représente la mer bleue, symbolisant la grande générosité du roi Rama V et son engagement à ouvrir
le pays à de nouvelles opportunités, gage de progrès. La partie droite représente une rangée
de frangipaniers. Le mot « lantom » provient d'une ancienne langue khmère et signifie « vénération ».
Le frangipanier représenté est un symbole de vénération pour les vertus du roi Chulalongkorn
et de tous les monarques thaïlandais qui l'ont précédé. Il symbolise également le lourd fardeau qui pèse
sur les monarques thaïlandais, contraints de guider la nation à travers les épreuves comme les joies,
avec persévérance et dévouement. Ceci est perceptible dans les lignes tortueuses et renflées du tronc. Enfin, l'arbre s'épanouit, offrant de magnifiques fleurs blanches, douces, pures et parfumées,
incarnant la croissance et la prospérité qui se sont perpétuées de génération en génération.

ศิลปินสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชิ้นนี้เพื่อบูชาคุณงามความดีและสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความรู้สึกซาบซึ้งในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของบูรพกษัตริย์ไทยทุกพระองค์ ที่ทรงเสียสละทรงงานอย่างหนักอย่างไม่ย่อท้อและไม่รู้จักเหน็ดเหนื่อย เปรียบเสมือนพ่อผู้ปูทางให้กับลูกซึ่งก็คือคนไทยในรุ่นต่อๆมาให้ได้เดินตามจวบจนถึงปัจจุบัน
ผลงานชิ้นนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากพระจุฑาธุชราชฐาน ณ เกาะสีชัง จังหวัดชลบุรี ในอดีตเคยเป็นพระราชวังฤดูร้อนที่ประทับของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 5 อีกทั้งยังเป็นสถานที่ประสูติของสมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฑาธุชธราดิลก กรมขุนเพ็ชรบูรณ์อินทราไชย พระราชโอรสในรัชกาลที่ 5 จึงได้ตั้งชื่อสถานที่แห่งนี้ว่า พระจุฑาธุชราชฐาน ด้านซ้ายของภาพเป็นท้องทะเลสีฟ้า อันเป็นสัญลักษณ์ที่สื่อให้เห็นถึงน้ำพระราชหฤทัยอันยิ่งใหญ่ดุจทะเลของรัชกาลที่ 5 รวมถึงการเปิดประเทศเพื่อรับสิ่งใหม่ๆที่จะนำประเทศไปสู่ความเจริญก้าวหน้า ส่วนด้านขวาของภาพเป็นแนวเรียงรายของต้นลั่นทม ซึ่งคำว่าลั่นทมนั้นมีที่มาจากภาษาขอมโบราณ หมายถึง ‘บูชา’ ต้นลั่นทมในภาพจึงเปรียบได้กับสัญลักษณ์เพื่อแสดงการบูชาคุณงามความดีของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวและบูรพกษัตริย์ไทยทุกพระองค์ นัยยะของต้นลั่นทมยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงภาระอันแสนหนักอึ้งของพระมหากษัตริย์ไทยที่จะต้องนำพาประเทศชาติผ่านพ้นทั้งทุกข์และสุขด้วยความมานะ ทุ่มเท บากบั่น อันแสดงให้เห็นจากลายเส้นของลำต้นที่มีทั้งความบิดเบี้ยว ปูดโปน แต่ในท้ายที่สุดต้นลั่นทมก็ผลิดอกออกผลเป็นดอกสีขาว สวยงาม อ่อนนุ่ม บริสุทธิ์หอมเย็น เปรียบได้ดั่งความเจริญงอกงามที่ออกดอกผลสืบทอดต่อจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นจนถึงปัจจุบัน
The artist created this piece to pay homage to the beauty, goodness, and to reflect the profound sense
of gratitude towards the benevolent grace of all Thai monarchs. They have tirelessly and selflessly dedicated themselves, akin to guiding fathers, to their Thai subjects through generations, leading them steadfastly into the present.
This artwork received inspiration from the Phra Chuthathut Palace on Si Chang Island in Chonburi,
This artwork received inspiration from the Phra Chuthathut Palace on Si Chang Island in Chonburi,
which once served as the summer residence of His Majesty King Rama V. Additionally,
it was the birthplace of His Royal Highness Prince Chudadhuj Dharadilok, a descendant of King Rama V. Hence, this location is named "Phra Chuthathut Palace." On the left side of the artwork lies the vast blue sea, symbolizing the immense royal grace akin to the vast sea of King Rama V's reign, including
his efforts to open up the country to new advancements, leading Thailand towards progress. On the right side of the image is a row of Lantom trees. The word "Lantom" originates from ancient Khmer language, meaning "worship." These trees represent homage to the beauty and goodness of His Majesty King Rama V and all Thai monarchs. The significance of the Lantom tree also signifies the heavy burden carried
by Thai monarchs to guide the nation through both trials and joys with wisdom, dedication, and perseverance, as indicated by the twisting, bending lines of the tree trunk. However, ultimately,
the Lantom tree bears flowers that are pure, beautiful, soft, and fragrant, symbolizing the continuous growth and beauty inherited from generation to generation until the present day.
