À l'occasion de la Journée mondiale des toilettes, prenons le temps de réfléchir aux toilettes : 

un espace souvent négligé, pourtant source de paix, d'intimité et de sécurité pour beaucoup. 

Pourtant, pour des milliards de personnes, l'assainissement reste menacé par la guerre, 

le réchauffement climatique et les catastrophes naturelles.

« The Toilet » (2020) de Kavita Wattanachayangkun, installée devant les toilettes du musée 

au rez-de-chaussée, est une installation vidéo qui explore le travail domestique à travers l'utilisation 

de son propre corps comme outil pour défier les limites du travail et du genre, révélant ainsi la complexité du rôle des femmes dans la société. Les images qui en résultent sont à la fois poignantes et poignantes.Dans cette œuvre, l'artiste utilise son propre corps comme un champ de bataille pour le travail, le genre et la résilience, testant les limites humaines et reflétant la complexité des identités féminines. « The Toilet » (2020) nous rappelle l'importance d'un assainissement sûr pour tous.
